Frequently Asked Questions: Questions from the Washington and Jefferson communities were collected in advance of the PTA meetings on November 16, 2023. Questions were forwarded to Dr. Means so answers could be as clear and concise as possible to make the most of the limited meeting time. Dr. Means addressed the majority of these questions during each meeting. Purpose of meeting:
Community members are encouraged to this open meeting to hear from Dr. Means, WSD and Keith Brightman, WSD Chief Financial Officer, about the key issues surrounding these scenarios and impact to our neighborhoods including:
- Purpose and scope of the Tosa 2075 Task Force
- Clarification on the initial scenarios that involve closing of Washington Elementary and/or Jefferson Elementary School
- Address common questions and next steps.
